Enjoy fine dining in the Aspen Room, a comfortable gathering spot seating 40 guests. It's a perfect place for our club members and guests to share tales from the day's adventures. Gourmet dishes are prepared everyday by chefs Scott and Cherie Carlisle. In the Aspen Room, we present to you what the French call terroir, a "taste of the place" from the part of the world in which we belong.

They have developed three Artisan Sheep Milk Cheeses for your enjoyment on the Ranch. Both have been trained in baking Artisan Breads in a wood fired oven and attended the Cookstreet school of Fine Cooking in Denver as well as France and Italy.

Scott and Cherie were inducted into the Cookstreet School of Fine Cooking's Hall of Fame on March 22, 2010 for their success with Star Valley Trout Ranch Resort.

Each of our distinguished cabins and our breathtaking lodge are strategically placed throughout the resort. Some of our cabins are placed on the edge of the hills overlooking the beautiful streams and waters below. Others are right on the water's edge just a stones throw from the pristine water and pools that create your own private waterfall. The lodge and cabins are equipped with private bathrooms, mini kitchens, and a rustic porch for you to sit a while and enjoy your beautiful surroundings.

Shuttle service is provided to members of the Club from the Jackson Hole Airport, for those flying commercially, or from the Afton Airport for those flying private. The Afton Airport boasts a 7,500-foot landing strip capable of landing any size jet. It is a 15-minute drive to the Ranch.
