Star Valley is located in western Wyoming between the Bridger-Teton and Caribou National Forests and gives a wide variety of riding, which includes riding in both Idaho and Wyoming, and has access to the Wyoming Range snowmobile trail system. The Wyoming Range is the area between Alpine, WY and Kemmerer, WY and has approximately 337 miles of trails. The main trails are groomed every week with secaondary trails groomed ever other week or as needed. The area offers deep snow, spectacular views and scenery, and off-trail riding like no other. Snow depths range from 3 to 12 feet in places with elevations from 6,000 feet to 10,000 feet. The season runs from late November through May, depending on the area. Season temperatures are +30 F degrees to -30 F. Non-Wyoming residents may purchase Wyoming Range User Permits locally at Courtesy Ford and Robinson Motors.
